DREAMBODY

I AM ALFA because so many people put their faith in me and Dreambody. It's a responsibility I take very seriously. Life is too short not to be in optimal health.

ABOUT DREAMBODY?

"I believe everyone has their own vision of what their dream body should look like. That’s why I created Dreambody, with this in mind. Some prefer bigger, others smaller—both can be right as long as health is the main focus. It's about finding balance and joy in what feels right for you."

This incorporates your values of individual preferences while emphasizing the importance of health as a priority. ~ Paul Anthony

PAUL ANTHONY

I grew up in Jamaica, sharing a 400 sq. ft. house with 11 family members, without running water or electricity. Despite those hardships, we found joy in simple pleasures like chasing goats. Moving to Canada as a teenager, I knew early on that my purpose was to serve others, whether through humanitarian work or teaching. Growing up on a farm instilled grit and resilience in me, so I never shied away from the hard work required to achieve my goals.

Making a meaningful impact on others has always been my driving force, especially in guiding my clients through transformative mental and physical journeys.

Each morning, I wake up with immense gratitude for how far I've come—from my roots in Jamaica to the life I'm living today. I truly feel like I’m living my dream, filled with laughter and purpose every day.

As a coach and personal trainer for over 30 years, I can honestly say there’s never been a dull moment. My clients bring me incredible joy and fulfillment, and I’m grateful to live out my passion through my work.

ANITA LACHNER

I think I was fairly fit and active but I needed to be more committed. As a woman post menopause, I was losing muscle and was also showing borderline line osteoporosis. I needed help.

By recommendation of a friend, I checked out Paul’s gym and liked the energy and sense of community. Besides the health benefits, I also like the look of more muscle definition.

I intend to make this exercise plan a consistent part of my life going forward. I believe that “you have to keep moving.”

BRADEN HARDS

My name is Braden Hards. I am 24 years old and I am a 2nd generation bodybuilder I am also the first bodybuilder with a cleft lip and pallet and before bodybuilding I was a professional wrestler known as The Virus. I have had 26 surgeries

The biggest changes that I have experienced since working out with Paul Anthony have been my confidence and the muscle I have gained.

I would totally recommend Paul to friends and family because his gym is amazing and on top of that Paul truly cares about his clients and, has such an amazing vibe and personality.

A piece of advice I would give someone starting their fitness journey is have patience and don't try to lift the heaviest weights in the room it takes time to get there we all started somewhere.

I would like to thank my family my friends my coach Paul Anthony and the team behind me

CHANTEL JOY

I have always been active and come from an active family but stopped putting my health first when my dad was diagnosed with ALS, giving him 2 years to live.

The mental challenge and discipline to stay focused on proper diet and training program has led me to increased energy, confidence, and happiness.

Paul really cares about real results for his clients and goes the extra mile. There are a lot of trainers that use the same set program but he understands you as a person and your struggles to help.

Three pieces of advice is 1. Get started now, 2. Work with Paul, 3. Face your struggles head on.

I thank Paul and my friends and family.

CRISTINA CAFFREY

I have always been active and looking for ways to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. No matter what the activity is, it has to be fun and it has to be challenging otherwise it is not sustainable. Finding a variety of activities, and people who motivate you is important. I have a very demanding and stressful job in disaster and risk management, and then I help my husband with our Caffrey Custom Renovations business so I can have some really long days as well. Sustaining a well-balanced lifestyle helps me be the best I can be at my job, for my husband, and for myself. Since 2016 I have competed in bodybuilding competitions; and in 2024 won my WBFF Pro card which I am incredibly proud to have achieved!

Despite always being active I never thought I could get the body I wanted (or felt like it reflected how I treated it), but that changed within only a few months of working with Paul. Finding the right trainer taught me how to balance training, eating, and making time to nourish the soul. I've worked with Paul throughout the years, since 2016. As our bodies continuously change, I appreciate having someone to go to for assistance. What I like the most is that you get results, and you get them quickly (if you stick to what he tells you to do. Seeing change happen is motivating and you want to keep doing it.

I have recommended Paul to a lot of friends, family and coworkers; many of which have been clients of his. As cliche as this is, what the mind believes the body can achieve.

People who want to make a change, are those who will see the change and want to keep it. Paul helps to guide you there. He has also created a community, a family, of people who are inspiration in their own right. This group of people inspire, motivate and encourage others around them. You can't help but want to keep doing what you're doing because of the positivity this community motivates you to maintain.

Three pieces of advice I would give to someone starting their fitness journey or feeling stuck is that It’s not an all or nothing game. Just do what you can every day, because something is better than nothing and there is always something you CAN do. Focus on that and go from there. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Every day you make choices. Having discipline in being consistent, of showing up, is the most important and influential action you can take.

It is not selfish to put your health first – if you don’t have health you don’t have anything. Common reasons for people to not eat healthy or exercise is because they are stressed, tired, busy with kids, have other health conditions, etc. Every single one of these are exactly the reason you should be eating healthy and exercising. If it’s important to you, protect your time to meal prep and exercise, and be unapologetic about it.

Surround yourself with people that want the best for you. Surround yourself with people who value taking action, health and fitness, and constant self-improvement. Separate yourself from those who are lazy, play the victim and drain your energy. You deserve better.

First and foremost, I want to thank my husband. My husband is my number one cheerleader, and constantly seeks ways to improve our health and fitness lifestyle. He is the one that pushes us as a unit to evolve and to become a better version of who we were yesterday; I would not be here today without him. Of course, I need to thank Paul Anthony for working with me - not just as trainers and coaches - but also as a friend over the years. I have deep appreciation for family, friends and coworkers who have been a part of my fitness journey whether it was a small note on my work computer saying 'you got this' or sending flowers from another country the day before my competition. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing people.

GINA HANSRA

I am an Australian with Indian heritage and made Canada home seven years ago. I am a wife, mother and work full time as a Human Resources partner. I grew up very physically active, predominantly playing soccer. Around eight years ago, I was no longer playing team sports and was introduced to the gym. This started my fitness journey with weight training.

The biggest changes i've experienced since I've started working with Paul was my body composition with more muscle mass and a generally better state of well-being physically. Paul recommended removing certain food types which made a significant difference in my gut health.

Paul is a wealth of knowledge and inspirational to train with and be around. When you work with Paul, there's no one that believes in you more to take it to the next level.

To those who are starting their fitness journey or feeling stuck I would say you need to get a trainer that inspires you to do and be better.

Paul lives and breathes physical wellness and was the sort of coach that I needed for this journey to the stage and after having a baby.

Just do it. Sometimes it's looking at it just one day at a time. Some days are easier and others are harder - fitness isn't an all or nothing approach. Something is better than nothing and it all adds up.

Pick a goal - whether it's to change your body composition, get into an item of clothing or to prep for a competition - having a goal makes it a tangible experience. Once you reach that goal, make it a lifestyle.

I have to thank Paul for being an incredible coach. I've known Paul for a few years and he's always kept in touch and been an advocate for reaching my potential.

My husband, who has always pushed me to be a little uncomfortable in the best way possible. Without his motivation or support, I doubt I would have stepped on stage.

Also, my mom for visiting me from Australia and helping out during the last few weeks while I was in competition prep and watching our son. I had a lot of support from my family and friends for being on this journey.

KRYSTLE SUCHAN

My fitness journey started during Covid. I was bored with working from home and not being able to see friends and family. I needed something to do so I took up fitness with a goal of bettering my health. Soon enough I had a year of training under my belt and a new hobby. I was encouraged to compete in a fitness competition so I blindly signed up for the 2024 Alberta Open. I had no idea what all was involved in a fitness competition. I just jumped in head first...how hard could it be, right?! I was 4 months away from the show and realized I needed to get my act together and start preparing. That's when I found Paul Anthony. He would go on to help me prepare for the competition- plan my workouts, nutrition, posing and everything in between. I ended up taking home six 1st place trophies in my first bodybuilding and fitness competition.I was able to lose 10lbs of body weight and over 4% body fat working with Paul to get me show ready.

Paul has played an integral part in my fitness journey by being supportive, knowledgeable and dedicated. Paul has guided me toward healthier habits, nutrition choices, and overall well-being. Working with Paul has given me a tremendous boost in self-esteem and body confidence. I'd absolutely recommend Paul to family and friends. Paul will help you to reach your goals with easy-to-follow exercises and motivate you along the way. “woo wooo, let's go baby!" Paul truly cares about all his clients. He wants everyone to achieve their full potential.

Three pieces of advice I would give to someone starting their fitness journey are: Hire Paul Anthony if it fits in your budget. A personal trainer will ensure you’re lifting with proper technique/form and put together a workout program that you can follow to get real results. Perform resistance training consistently. Lift heavy and challenge your muscles so they can grow stronger (or bigger). Focus on improving your diet and nutrition. Make small changes that you're likely to stick with. Build those discipline and habits now!

I would like to thank my coaches I’ve had along the way and everyone that encouraged me and continues to support me in my fitness journey.

I am ALFA because I risk it.  I say yes to the adventure and figure it out along the way!

MACKENZIE SEE

My fitness journey started with workout DVD's at home just after I had my daughter. I started going to the gym with a previous partner and soon realized that lifting weights made me feel stronger and gave me small goals to push towards. It was exciting and gave me a sense of accomplishment.

I started working with Paul Anthony because I wanted to look like I "worked out". Paul Anthony gave me the guidance to achieve that in a very short amount of time.

I would recommend Paul as he is very knowledgeable and upbeat.

Two pieces of advice I would give to people starting their fitness journey would be to just start, start with smaller attainable goals, and really evaluate how you can sustain this journey.

MARTINA BRILL

My name is Martina, I am 52 years old, and mom of 5 wonderful kids. I got into fitness after broken shoulder many years ago, and I continued to work out fairly regularly for the next 20 years, but I got addicted to the fit lifestyle after a difficult divorce and that is when I met Paul and he took my fitness to the next level.

I am ALFA and a badass. Why? I decided to get the best life after huge setbacks in my life and fitness was the way to keep me sane in the process. It built me strong mentally and physically.

In the process I realized other women had similar stories and they were watching my journey and it encourages them to take care of themselves. I became a role model to them and to my kids. That’s priceless.

The biggest change since meeting Paul is definitely my mindset! He helped me prepare for my first fitness show at the age of 50. He showed me what my body is capable of achieving with the right mindset, nutrition, workouts and consistency. Working with Paul can be absolutely life changing experience if you are ready and willing to put the work in.

My advice to those who are looking to start their fitness journey is to Show UP. Show up for yourself even on the days you don’t feel like it, just make it to the gym. There were days I only ended up talking to people in the gym and that kept me going. We all have up and down days – show up on your down days – it will pay off.

Paul, Paul and Paul. Honestly there were a lot of people who supported me on this journey but Paul was and "is" very crucial in my ongoing journey. His support as a trainer and a friend is what keeps me going.

MICHELLE MURRAY

I’ve always been passionate about fitness. It’s been a part of my lifestyle since childhood, from playing sports to being inspired by watching my dad and uncle weightlifting. Growing up with a home gym and being encouraged to prioritize fitness, I’m thankful to my parents for instilling an active lifestyle. Over the years, I’ve shaped my fitness journey around what makes me feel good and helps me achieve my own goals.

The biggest changes since working with Paul Anthony are a renewed sense of purpose and accountability. Being motivated by someone who walks the talk and empowers everyone to be their best has been life-changing. It has inspired me to elevate my fitness journey, not for others, but to prove to myself what I can accomplish.

I would definitely recommend Paul to friends and family. He is the most motivational coach I’ve ever had, truly getting to know his clients and tailoring his approach to their needs. If you’re looking to be pushed harder than ever and learn to exceed your limits, Paul is your guy.

My advice to those who are starting their fitness journey or feeling stuck is to:

Focus on the micro moments and take pride in the small changes, as they compound over time. Remember, it’s a lifestyle and a marathon, not a sprint. Don’t get discouraged by plateaus; they’re part of the process and teach you how to grow and push yourself differently. Define your "why" and always anchor back to it, using mantras or words that keep you focused on your goals.

Beyond Paul, who helped change my mindset and push myself to new levels, I want to thank my family and husband for their unwavering support and understanding. Their encouragement allows me to commit the time and effort to be the best version of myself for both me and those in my life.

RUTH AGUILAR VENTURA

The world of fitness has become relevant in my daily life as part of my commitment to feel good, emotionally, mentally and physically. For instance, I have learned on how to choose the most nutritious food for my body. “Fail to prepare or Prepare to fail” as my trainer Paul Anthony says; Is key to keep on maintaining body weight and shape. The exercise routines with weights combined with right food portions for my body recommended by Paul Anthony has been as well a key to get positive & satisfactory results in my personal goals.

The biggest change I've experienced since starting with Paul Anthony has been reversing my pre-diabetes diagnosis. I’m happy to say that I am no longer at risk for diabetes. Within the first month, I lost 5 kg (11 lbs), and over the course of a few months, I dropped a total of 25 kg (55 lbs). Although I can't remember the exact timeline, I believe this transformation took place in around 9 months or less.

In addition to the weight loss, I noticed improvements in my blood test results within the first three months. Paul’s guidance has not only helped me physically but also mentally. After being diagnosed with ADHD in 2018, I found that regular exercise helped me achieve balance to the point where my doctor decided I no longer needed medication.

In summary, I feel great—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I feel slimmer, younger, and more energized. This transformation is something anyone can achieve with the right support and dedication.

I do highly recommend Paul Anthony as a trainer that is helping me out to achieve my new personal goals and keeping me interested to get better version of myself and improving parts on my body with new weight routines. Also, working with him as a team it has been rewarding by practicing his tools to accomplishing from day by day, week by week to month by month. In other words, he impacted positive way to improve his techniques on food weights and cardio exercises.

Few pieces of advice that I can share with new people to start are to have a positive attitude mentality by keep trying and not giving up. Being open mentally by doing new routines and ways to do exercise, and be ready with your lunch pack & full of wisely food selected and recommend by your coach.

I would like to thank for supporting me to accomplish my goals firstly to my trainer Paul Anthony because he has been a key to be successful in my journey since I started with him. As a result, I lost weight, I feel more confident with my body and getting better with my self-confidence. Also, family members, people around me and friends at the gym, friends back home that listen and still giving me moral support what makes me happy and feeling good.

SHERRI JANZ

I'm a 51-year-old registered nurse and proud mom of a 12-year-old son who's active in football and hockey. I've always been involved in sports, and in my late teens, I discovered weight training, which helped me manage stress and improve my mood, energy, and overall well-being. While at university, I joined the Canadian military reserves as a Medic, which pushed my physical and mental fitness to the next level.

For most of my life, I worked out for general health, but two years ago, I became more committed to fitness and nutrition.

As I approached 50, I wanted to take control of how I aged and ensure I had a long, healthy, and active life. With menopause on the horizon and the risk of bone loss increasing, I knew it was time to get serious about building muscle, which I see as an insurance policy for my health.

In February 2023, I met Paul and some other coaches after being invited to a couple of posing classes at the gym. At the time, I was working with an online personal trainer, transitioning out of a mini-cut, and focusing on muscle building. Competing wasn't on my radar, but attending those classes got me thinking about it. Paul gave us sessions after posing practice, discussing whole foods, gut health, and mindset. His passion and experience made me realize that when I was ready to compete, he’d be the coach I’d turn to. Fast forward to February 2024, I was ready to cut after feeling tired of the extra weight I’d gained. Though I lost some weight, I still needed help, so I reached out to Paul. Initially, my goal was a transformational photoshoot, but Paul encouraged me to consider competing in the WBFF amateur show. At first, I was unsure, but within a few weeks, I saw changes in my body, skin, and mindset. I realized my dream physique was on the other side of my fears, so I committed to the competition.

Balancing work, playing hockey, taking guitar lessons, parenting, and all my other responsibilities made things overwhelming at times. However, I stayed disciplined, focusing on workouts, posing practice, and diet. Paul supported me with adjustments when needed. I lost over 30 pounds and crossed the stage feeling better than I ever have.

I would recommend to anyone interested in finding a coach to interview Paul and as well as other trainers. While looking for a trainer, I feel it’s-important to know how much time, energy and motivation a person has to put towards their goals and figure out who might be the right fit for them. Paul was a good fit for my goals at the time but it doesn’t mean he would be right for everyone.

Finding a coach or trainer can give you proper form to help prevent injury and an exercise program. They can also keep your goals focused and realistic. Meal plan and meal prep. Utilize grocery delivery apps like Instacart and Amazon. They were lifesavers. The gym may not be for everyone. There are many ways to get in shape, find something that you enjoy and can commit to.

I’m so grateful for the supportive community of people I met at the gym and through the WBFF. A huge thank you to my former personal training, Sue, at Rollin Coaching for keeping me on track for 18 months of online coaching and regular check ins. She helped me with building a foundation of muscle and good habits all of which helped me during competition prep.
